Key to operational success is a dedicated Parts Specialist who effectively manages sales, margin, and customer satisfaction. This role involves handling incoming and outgoing parts enquiries, liaising with suppliers, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Core Duties:
* Handle calls professionally, promote and secure parts sales while upholding service standards.
* Liaise with suppliers to source and order parts, ensuring optimal stock levels and best-value procurement.
* Support the Branch Manager in meeting monthly targets for sales, profit margin, and contribution.
* Maintain high levels of communication and cooperation with the team to meet company SLAs and KPIs.
* Conduct regular stock checks and cleanses, process internal transfers promptly to maintain accurate inventory management.
* Engage with customers, delivering exceptional service to build lasting relationships and repeat business.
* Identify and develop new customer opportunities, fully promoting the company’s truck and trailer parts capability.
* Handle cash and payment systems accurately, adhering to all financial and safety procedures.
A full UK driving licence is required.
