The Role:
* Operate our vacuum excavator trucks & units to complete jobs (80% labouring, 20% truck driving)
* Assist customers where possible
* Understanding & completion of basic paperwork (JSEA's, pre-starts, work dockets, timesheets etc.)
* Routine vehicle maintenance & cleaning
* Assist with ensuring our company services are delivered in a safe and efficient manner
* Support other team members in solving problems and completing tasks
* At times work outside of Canberra
* Do on call/rostered work at night and on weekends when required
What you need to Succeed:
* Experience as a vacuum excavator operator, not essential.
* Be physically fit (job involves hard physical work)
* Excellent organisation skills
* The ability to prioritise tasks
* Time management skills (punctual & reliable)
* Understanding & completion of basic paperwork (JSEA's, pre-starts, work dockets, timesheets etc.)
* The ability to work independently and in a team environment
* A passion for customer service
* Excellent communication & language skills (phone manner etc)
* Initiative to get jobs done and assist in solving problems that may arise
