Key Responsibilities
* Plan, design, and oversee construction and maintenance of civil engineering projects, including roads, drainage, earthworks, and structural elements
* Conduct site inspections, surveys, and assessments to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards
* Prepare and review engineering drawings, technical reports, estimates, and project documentation
* Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, architects, surveyors, and other engineering professionals
* Monitor construction progress, identify issues, and implement effective solutions
* Ensure all work complies with relevant Australian Standards, building codes, and company safety policies
* Perform quality control checks and ensure proper documentation throughout project life cycles
* Assist with tender preparation, project planning, and resource allocation
* Foster positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent recognised qualification
* Minimum 3 years of experience in civil engineering or construction project delivery
* Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction processes, and Australian Standards
* Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools
* Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a project-driven environment
* Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
