The Role:
Bring your Category Management expertise to shape exceptional customer experiences while driving revenue and category profit growth.
What You'll Do:
* Drive growth in revenue (including NRI & back margin) and category profit, via the use of master data analytics, customer insight and Joint Business Plans delivering growth & market share increases.
* Work cross functionally & collaboratively to deliver an optimised customer journey, driving customer penetration, frequency & ATV.
* Be accountable for inventory/working capital management to deliver KPIs.
* Work closely with the Assistant Category Manager to ensure business priorities are delivered in a timely & accurate manner.
* Maintain a solid understanding of the performance of your category and provide insightful updates to weekly meetings.
* From time to time, work within project teams that will deliver specific objectives within a finite time frame.
What We're Looking For:
* 5+ years' experience in retail category management
* Thorough knowledge of the FMCG industry and convenience category
* Proven experience managing successful supplier relationships
* Previous experience in team management is a plus
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Strong analytical & ability to translate customer/market insight into category plans driving profit growth
