Key Responsibilities
* Safely operate specialized vehicles to transport goods from our facilities to various locations.
* Follow established delivery schedules to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
* Conduct regular vehicle inspections before and after each trip, reporting any maintenance or safety issues as necessary.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience:
1. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential for this position.
2. The ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining excellent communication skills is required.
3. Prior experience operating heavy equipment or similar vehicles would be beneficial but not essential. The ability to lift up-to 20 pounds on occasion when needed. A strong understanding of road safety regulations and traffic laws is also important. The candidate must be able-bodied as they may need physical assistance at times when loading/unloading materials from their assigned routes including walking over long distances on uneven terrain, working outdoors at heights above ground level (depending on specific site requirements), using manual tools for tasks like digging holes around trees etcetera; candidates must pass medical examination prior starting job if requested by employer post selection process.
