The successful candidate will oversee the daily production and delivery of meals, ensuring functions run smoothly and efficiently. This includes managing staff, overseeing food quality control, adhering to safety standards, and responsible for financial and operational management.
Responsibilities:
* Managing daily operations: over-see the daily production and delivery of a high-volume of meals per day.
* Lead and mentor a team of catering staff.
* Oversee food quality control, adhering to safety standards including OHS and HACCP regulations.
* Responsible for the catering services financial and operational management.
This role requires a blend of operational management, team leadership, and commitment to food safety and quality. You will be creative and innovative in terms of delivering a high-quality menu for patients, doctors, and staff.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, remain calm under pressure, be punctual, reliable, and committed to genuine, friendly customer service.
* Skilled leader with Operational Experience.
* Chef trade qualifications with experience in managing large scale catering operations.
* Food Safety Supervisor certification.
* Previous experience in hospitality management, with skills in staff scheduling, menu development, line management, ordering, and upholding safety standards.
