The Role
We're on the hunt for a Head Chef who can lead from the front - a people-focused leader with a passion for quality and the creativity to keep things fresh. This role is about more than just cooking; it's about creating memorable dining experiences and driving a kitchen that thrives under pressure.
You'll be responsible for:
* Leading and mentoring a high-performing kitchen brigade
* Showcasing fresh, local, and seasonal produce across a flexible, modern menu
* Balancing share plates, crowd-pleasing pub classics, and elevated dishes for dinner and events
* Overseeing kitchen operations including menu development, supplier relationships, cost control, rostering, and compliance
* Delivering for large-scale functions, private events, and an ever-evolving nightlife program
* Fostering a culture of teamwork, respect, and consistency across service
About You
We're looking for a Head Chef who combines culinary skill with leadership- someone who thrives in a high-energy, multi-faceted venue.
* At least 2 years' experience in a Head Chef role
* Proven success in pubs, gastropubs, or modern casual dining environments
* Passion for seasonal, local produce and building strong supplier relationships
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, mentor, and inspire your team
* Commercially astute: confident in rostering, costing, stock management, and efficiency
* Calm under pressure, with strong organisational skills and a quality-first mindset
