Based at our vibrant St Kilda Retail Support Centre, this Full-Time role provides the perfect opportunity to collaborate with talented professionals and contribute to the success of our brand. This role is ideal for a candidate who has completed a Fashion Design Degree and is looking to pursue Buying as their ultimate career aspiration. Your Responsibilities
•Act as the first point of contact for the Buying department, managing internal and external inquiries.
•Support the Senior Buyer in executing product development and range planning.
•Maintain accurate product data across all platforms to ensure data integrity.
•Prepare, publish, and maintain various internal reports.
•Liaise with suppliers to obtain product information and maintain supplier relationships.
•Oversee and coordinate the tracking of product samples to ensure timely availability.
•Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and customer demands.
•Perform ad hoc administrative tasks to support the team as required.
What We’re Looking For
•Previous experience in a Buying Assistant role within branded or high-volume quality fashion or accessories categories.
•Proven experience working to a Merchandise Critical Path.
•Strong communication skills, particularly in managing supplier correspondence independently and professionally.
•High attention to detail with strong follow-up skills.
•Proactive, motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
•Ability to work both independently and within a team.
•Excellent time management and organisational skills.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
•Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is desirable.
•Tertiary education in Fashion, Marketing, Business, or Commerce is desirable but not essential.
