About The Role
We are seeking a Cook to support daily kitchen operations. The role involves preparing and cooking menu items, assisting with food preparation, and maintaining consistency across all dishes during service. You will work under the supervision of the Chef and contribute to smooth kitchen workflow and timely service delivery.

Salary: $76,000 to $80,000 plus superannuation

Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes including curries, tandoori items, and sides
* Assist with food preparation, cutting, marination, and portioning
* Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes
* Support kitchen operations during service periods
* Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
* Assist with stock rotation, storage, and inventory control
* Minimise food wastage and follow kitchen procedures
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen
* Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth service
* Follow instructions provided by the Chef and senior kitchen staff
Skills & Experience
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or relevant qualification (or equivalent experience)
* Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
* Experience in Indian cuisine preferred
* Ability to work in a fast‐paced kitchen environment
* Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
* Strong attention to detail and consistency
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Good time management and organisational skills
