Job Title: Principal Scientific Inspector
The key objective of this role is to serve as an Authorised Officer under the Dangerous Substances Act 1979 and Inspectors of Explosives under the Explosives Act 1936.
This position is responsible for developing and delivering statewide compliance and enforcement intervention programs across various industries.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Providing expert advice on matters related to explosives, dangerous substances, dangerous goods, and hazardous chemicals to both internal and external stakeholders;
* Considering legislation, knowledge of state and national initiatives, standards, literature, and sound professional judgment.
