Statutory Planning & Urban Release Manager
Shellharbour City Council is hiring for the Statutory Planning & Urban Release Manager role. The Manager – Statutory Planning and Urban Release plays a pivotal role in ensuring the timely, efficient and accurate evaluation and determination of applications, delivering high-quality outcomes that protect our natural resources while enhancing the built environment. You will lead a dynamic, multi-functional team responsible for Development Assessment, the management of Urban Release Areas and pre-lodgement services within Statutory Planning. You will drive operational change that aligns with ministerial expectations and respond to evolving planning reforms with adaptability and foresight. As an effective leader, you will inspire your team and advocate for continuous improvement. Your proactive approach will address customers' needs and establish processes that ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
