Your role at St John of God St John of God Geelong Hospital
You will lead the Clinical Risk and Quality Team in coordinating and ensuring a proactive culture of continuous quality improvement is fostered and achieved throughout the organisation including the overall coordination of the ACHS accreditation process.
The Position- Coordinate and implement Quality Activities at both department and hospital levels.- Assist in the strategic development of Quality based initiatives.- Co-ordinate and facilitate the delivery of Clinical Risk and Quality education.- Organise promotion and communication of Quality activities throughout hospital.- Participate in Group Clinical Risk Management & Quality committee.- Be an active member of all Quality based committees to ensure dissemination of information and ongoing commitment to quality activities.- Work together with management to ensure closure of all quality activities through completion of quality cycle.- Co-ordinate regular review and update of all hospital policies, ensuring compliance to SJGHC proforma.- Acts as Accreditation Co-Coordinator, to co-ordinate the resources the Quality team and of each department of the hospital to maintain ACHS Accreditation.
You will have experience in Change management, leadership and team building skills and will demonstrate understanding of Quality Management Principles and National Safety & Quality Health Service Standards (ACSQHC).
To succeed you will demonstrate an understanding of ACHS Accreditation Standards and Clinical Risk Management. You will display personal attributes of self-motivation, initiative, reliability and capacity to work independently as well as part of a team.
