Aboutthe role
We areseeking a Market Development Coordinator (MDC) to join our ClientGrowth team in one of our offices located in Brisbane, Melbourne orSydney.
With regularinteraction with lawyers, practice group leaders and Client Growthcolleagues across our global platform, the MDC will support andexecute business development and marketing programs and initiativesfor firmwide practice areas and industry groups. Successfulcandidates will possess good written and oral communicationsskills, project management abilities and will be able to assist toimplement strategic directives and coordinate marketingfunctions.
Whatdoes the role involve?
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Assisting with theimplementation of various marketing, business and clientdevelopment projects to practice and industrygroups.
* Creatingand assisting to deliver client-focused proposals, capabilitystatements, contact cards and presentation materials inresponse to new business opportunities including tracking inthe firm's global experience and proposal database.
* Drafting, editing andproofing marketing collateral, PowerPoint presentations, eventand sponsorship invitations (in Word and Concep/CI360) andcommunications, lawyer CVs and website biographies.
* Coordinating andpublishing articles, newsletters, legal alerts, blog posts,LinkedIn/social media posts and other marketing communicationsmaterials.
* Workingwith partners and lawyers to maintain experience lists for dealannouncements, legal directory submissions, CVs and websitebiographies and other practice and industryactivities.
* Planningand coordinating practice/industry group/office special events,including mailing list management, collateral production,logistics planning and on-site support.
* Preparing detailedcompetitive intelligence and marketing research reports usingfirmwide research tools and library resources including reportsto track value added services.
* Workingcollaboratively with other Market Development Coordinators andoversee assigned tasks including onboarding, merchandise andpromotional materials and general teamadministration.
