What You’ll Be Doing:
* Customer Service Excellence: Oversee daily operations of the service department, ensuring high customer satisfaction through prompt responses to inquiries, efficient appointment management, and swift resolution of any concerns.
* Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and train service advisors, technicians, and other team members to ensure efficient operations and top-notch service delivery.
* Quality Assurance & Compliance: Monitor repairs to ensure they meet quality standards, follow manufacturer guidelines, and adhere to dealership policies, as well as safety and environmental regulations.
* Customer Communication: Maintain ongoing communication with customers regarding service progress, estimated costs, timelines, and offer recommendations for additional services when appropriate.
* Administrative Management: Ensure accurate record-keeping, manage warranty claims, handle invoices, and ensure proper documentation for all service transactions.
* Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key metrics including revenue, productivity, and customer satisfaction to the Service Manager, supporting strategic decisions and ongoing improvement efforts.
