We are seeking a full‑time Licensed Truck Driver to support our growing operations. The role involves Cairns–Townsville return haulage and local delivery work within the Cairns region, offering stable, long‑term employment for a reliable and safety‑focused driver.

Task & responsibilities
* Maintain accurate manifests, delivery notes, and route documentation.
* Represent Bellmere Transport professionally and follow all WHS and site safety procedures.
* Safely operate heavy combination vehicles — long‑haul and local delivery trucks.
* Perform scheduled long‑haul routes and local freight delivery tasks.
* Ensure cargo is loaded, secured, transported, and delivered in compliance with relevant safety and transport regulations.
* Conduct regular vehicle inspections, basic maintenance checks, and pre‑trip safety inspections.
* Maintain accurate logbooks, delivery records, and any required documentation.
* Coordinate delivery schedules and routes, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries.
* Represent Bellmere Transport professionally when interacting with clients, warehouses, loading docks, and subcontractors.
* Adhere to company safety protocols, road regulations, and fatigue management guidelines.
Qualification & experience
* Valid Australian MC (Multi‑Combination) Licence (or equivalent approved licence for heavy combination vehicles).
* Clean driving record with no major traffic or safety violations.
* Good understanding of road safety standards, vehicle weight/load regulations, and secure cargo handling practices.
* Ability to manage time effectively and adhere to delivery schedules.
* Good communication skills; ability to complete documentation and interact professionally with clients and staff.
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including long‑haul overnight or multi‑day runs, and local delivery shifts as required.
