**The Company**

A larger distributor in Western Sydney is on the hunt for an Inventory Specialist to join their busy Warehouse over the busy period. The role will initially be for 3 months with the potential to go perm.

**The Role**

As the Inventory Specialist you will be responsible for receiving, handling, packing and shipping all goods.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Approve / Process / Ship order (On Demand Shipping)
- Process / Ship ALL Orders (Scheduled shipping)
- Ensure that ERP and CRM order status are aligned.
- Ship where requested any customer Sales Orders
- Check / Receipt any Order from ILP / FMC into SP_Syd, SP_Adl and if required FG_Syd and follow up any discrepancies.
- Process ALL FSE Defective RMAs (Returns)
- Process ALL FSE Unused RMAs (Returns)
- Responsible for the cleanliness of the Sydney Warehouse
- Responsible for physically checking all inbound packages for quality assurance, stocking of goods on shelves and receipting into our ERP of incoming stock. Reaching out to relevant parties for any discrepancies/goods damaged in transit received
- Logistics coordination (picking, packing and shipping) of any inventory item from SYD location to relevant customer site (internal and external) as required/requested.
- Assists with quarterly stocktake process
- Logistics
- Liaise and coordinate with 3PL company to ensure timely delivery
- Coordination of local courier deliveries
- Strong ability to work both as part of a team and autonomously
- Ability to work well under pressure and tight timelines
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Previous experience in warehousing and logistics (minimum 3 years)
- Experience with SalesForce, ServiceMax and Oracle Cloud beneficial/preferred
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively, must be effective manager of time
- Resilient to challenges and stress when facing competing priorities
- Highly flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and willing to take on new responsibilities and challenges
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
