About the Role
This role provides hands‐on support across operations, facilities, and People & Culture to ensure the smooth day‐to‐day running of Loam Bio. You will assist with recruitment for active roles while also supporting IT, logistics, and general business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Facilities & Fleet Support
* Coordinate vehicle maintenance, repairs, and safety checks
* Conduct basic site inspections and log maintenance requests
* Coordinate minor repairs and maintain facility records
* Report hazards and support WHS compliance
Operations & Storage
* Maintain organised storage areas
* Support stock control (ordering, tracking, disposal)
* Assist with soil archive relocation project
Office Administration
* Manage office supplies and consumables
* Handle incoming/outgoing mail and deliveries
* Assist with internal events and materials preparation
Warehouse & Fulfilment (Mar–Jul)
* Pick, pack, and dispatch orders
* Assist with stocktakes and inventory organisation
* Support product deliveries when required
Field & Trial Support (Optional)
* Assist with soil sampling and field data collection
* Support soil processing and related tasks
IT & General Support
* Assist with the setup of computers and equipment
* Escalate IT issues where required
Recruitment & People Support
* Support end‐to‐end recruitment for active roles
* Review and screen applications
* Coordinate and collect hiring manager feedback
* Assist with interview scheduling and candidate communication
* Maintain accurate recruitment records and documentation
