The Opportunity

We have an opportunity for a conscientious individual to carry out educational initiatives restoration projects for schools and communities within the Diocese.

As Project Officer - Educational Initiatives, you will assist in the development and management of educational projects as well as assist with the assessment of resources and procurement of materials and services. You will prepare project design, resource allocation, and contract documents in consultation with the Diocese's Procurement Team.

We are seeking an individual who holds a Diploma level qualification in project management or another relevant field (indicative) and has a current NSW driver's licence.

You will have the following skills and experience;

* Demonstrated high-level project management skills including the ability to work independently and to be able to complete multiple projects within budget and timeframe.
* Demonstrated knowledge of budget and resource management processes.
* Demonstrated experience in engaging with and managing consultants, sub-contractors and construction staff.
* High level of verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively negotiate.

This is a permanent full-time position working 35 hours per week, with the potential for flexible work arrangements.

The total remuneration package for this position commences at $92,286.77 gross per annum, comprising of:

* $183.05 per week superannuation (calculated at 11.5%)
