Whether you're looking for full-time or part-time hours, we're flexible because finding the perfect match matters to us.As a Field Service Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our clients across Australia, primarily focusing on Western Australia.
Your responsibilities will involve independent work while directly reporting to our Lead Physicist.
You'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing diverse lab equipment at both our Welshpool site and client locations.
Our primary goal?
Keeping our clients' equipment running smoothly, minimising downtime, and contributing significantly to our sustainability efforts by reducing electronic waste.What We're Looking For:Strong troubleshooting skills in scientific instruments and associated systemsHands-on experience with mechanical, electronic, and optical systemsProficiency in scientific analysis techniques and their support peripheralsA bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent experienceRelevant field service experience in scientific equipment service.We recognise that the skills we require may have been developed through a varied and potentially long working life, and not necessarily through usual education models, and the other way round.
