Position Overview:
We are seeking a Construction Project Engineer to join our KBR Adelaide team to oversee and coordinate critical interfaces between our client, the managing contractor, and our technical site support team.
Key Responsibilities:
* You will serve as the primary point of contact between the construction team and the project team.
* Manage and ensure timely responses to Requests for Information (RFIs), shop drawing reviews, and site inspections.
* Oversee the technical site support team, including civil, structural, building services, security, and architectural disciplines.
* Support the delivery of Production Demonstration Facilities (PDF) and building infrastructure projects.
* Lead on-site construction administration processes to ensure seamless project execution.
* Play a significant role in the first tranche of construction and contribute to the ongoing delivery of future project phases.
Skills & Experience Required:
* A background in structural engineering, building services engineering, or architecture.
* Demonstrated expertise in the construction industry, with a strong understanding of on-site construction administration processes, typically acquired through substantial project experience and technical proficiency.
* Proven experience managing complex projects and interdisciplinary teams.
* Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
* A proactive and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
* Current Baseline Clearance or the ability to obtain Defence clearance required.
* Candidates must hold Australian Citizenship.
