Position Details
Primary Role: Finance Manager
Work Location: Sunshine Coast
Employment Type: Permanent Part Time, 4 days
Salary Range: $57 - $68 per hour (subject to experience and qualifications)
Position reports to: CFO
Mandatory Qualification & Experience: degree in finance, accounting, or related field, 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting
Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of our organisation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. The Finance Manager will work closely with senior management to develop financial strategies and ensure the financial health of the organisation.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures
* Manage financial reporting and analysis
* Prepare and present financial statements to senior management
* Develop and manage budgets and forecasts
* Monitor and analyze financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement
* Manage cash flow and ensure adequate funding for operations
* Oversee accounts payable and receivable
* Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial institutions
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws
* Provide financial guidance and support to other departments
Qualifications:
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office such as Xero accounting, Employment Hero and SharePoint
* Knowledge of financial regulations and laws
