The team is tight-knit, warm, and proud of what they do – and now, they’re looking for someone to join their management team.The RoleThis role is event-focused, involving the delivery of unforgettable weddings, welcome receptions, and recovery functions across a sprawling estate. Our client seeks a restaurant manager who can lead and ensure each event is executed with precision and flair. Responsibilities include coordinating logistics, leading casual event teams, supporting bar and service flow during key functions, and providing calm, confident leadership during high-impact service days. A strong understanding of front-of-house operations and food & beverage service is essential to uphold the high standards of this premium venue. The role also involves stock and beverage oversight, structured training of new team members, and continuous improvements to operational processes.Key ResponsibilitiesLead event execution from setup (bump-in) to breakdown (bump-out)Manage and mentor casual service staff across multiple event zonesDeliver high-end front-of-house service, including bar, floor, and guest interactionMaintain stock levels, manage beverage orders, and oversee month-end proceduresOversee and support the delivery of exceptional food and beverage service during all functionsContribute to beverage and cocktail menu development (creativity encouraged!)Support new staff training with structure, follow-through, and clear expectationsEnsure service runs smoothly and calmly, even on large wedding daysCommunicate effectively with other Venue Managers and the Hospitality DirectorRequired Skills and ExperiencePrevious experience in premium hospitality – events, weddings, or hotelsAbility to adapt easily to a fast-paced, hands-on environmentComfort working during busy periods (wedding weekends can be large)Bar and beverage knowledge – cocktail creation is a plusConfidence in managing casual staff and providing hands-on trainingOrganized with a strategic mindset – including rostering, briefings, and service planningPersonal AttributesCalm leadership under pressure, providing clarity during hectic timesComfortable working in a multicultural, collaborative teamEnjoys operational delivery combined with creative inputGrounded, team-oriented attitude with a drive to achieve great outcomesWarm, adaptable, and capable of uplifting team morale and standardsBenefits and PerksSalary up to $90k+S, $5k bonus, and up to $12k tips annuallyWork on a fantastic property – a venue that impressesJoin a stable, loyal, and fun team
