The role

About the Volunteer Role

Toby Inlet Catchment Group, located in Dunsborough WA, invites volunteers to help protect, preserve, and repair the Toby Inlet catchment and Geographe Bay for future generations. Volunteers support local reserves, the Toby inlet, and the Quindalup beach foreshore through planting, maintenance, possum monitoring, weed and pest control, and by raising awareness of environmental issues.

Activities are held one day per month all year, usually on weekend mornings but occasionally on weekdays.

Volunteer Profile

  • Looking after our natural environment.
  • Meeting and collaborating with like-minded people.

Desirable Skills

  • Garden maintenance
  • Trailer towing
  • Handy person skills
  • Native flora and the environment knowledge
  • Microsoft Office skills

Commitment

  • Regular – more than 6 months

Time Required

  • One day per month all year. Usually weekend mornings but sometimes weekdays.

Location

  • Dunsborough and/or Quindalup

Training

  • On-site by supervisor.
