Who are we looking for?
Sigma Aerospace is seeking two detail‐oriented and experienced Technical Records Officers for permanent opportunities within a large rotary fleet operation—one role based in Cooroy and the other in Marcoola, QLD. Reporting to the HAAMC, you'll ensure accurate and timely processing of aircraft and engine records, supporting the ongoing airworthiness, scheduling, and regulatory compliance of a diverse fleet.
About The Role
This is a Monday to Friday, permanent full‐time position. You'll work with Aeronet to manage component records, logbooks, maintenance tracking, flight hour data, and airworthiness documentation across a fleet that includes:
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain aircraft and component technical records in Aeronet
* Compile and process work packs for scheduled maintenance
* Manage defects, MEL codes, logbook entries, component changes
* Monitor and validate aircraft hours, cycles, and usage trends
* Prepare maintenance release documentation for engineer sign‐off
* Support audits, technical publications, and document retention schedules
* Assist in maintaining effective airworthiness and reliability programs
What You'll Need
* Experience in technical records or maintenance administration
* Familiarity with Aeronet or similar maintenance software
* Prior experience in aviation, ideally in a rotary environment
* Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
* Current Driver's Licence
* Ability to obtain an ASIC
