Job Role Overview
The IT Support Officer position involves hands-on experience in supporting technology-related activities for the SKA-Low Telescope in Perth.
Main Responsibilities
* Setting up systems and providing ongoing technical support for software and hardware at desktops and laptops
* Providing technical assistance for wider Information & Communications Technology (ICT) services, including incident support and support of communications, network, and presentation technologies
* Supporting meeting room systems and providing technical assistance to events such as conferences and large meetings
Key Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need excellent technical skills and strong communication abilities. You should have experience working with a variety of computer systems and have a solid understanding of ICT concepts.
