**Position**:
**Reporting to the Interim Country Lead, Australia, this exciting new role is responsible for generating opportunities and sell products and services to achieve revenue in line with business objectives and sales targets.**
The following outlines the primary areas of responsibility. Additional responsibilities or functions may be required as necessary to support the business:
- Compiling lists of prospective client businesses using directories and other sources.
- Acquiring and updating knowledge of employers’ and competitors’ goods and services, and market conditions.
- Visiting regular and prospective client businesses to establish and act on selling opportunities.
- Assessing customers’ needs and recommending and explaining goods and services to them.
- Monitoring customers’ changing needs and competitor activity, and reporting these developments to sales management.
- Quoting and negotiating prices and credit terms, and completing contracts and recording orders.
- Arranging delivery of goods, installation of equipment and the provision of services.
- Reporting to sales management on sales made and the marketability of goods and services.
- Following up with clients to ensure satisfaction with goods and services purchased, and resolving any problems arising.
- Preparing sales reports and maintaining and submitting records of business expenses incurred.
- Maintain a high awareness and knowledge of the market, including industry, competitors and telecoms and internal activities to ensure that all business opportunities are identified, considered and implemented appropriately.
- Reaching monthly/annual targets and goals set for your region/portfolio.
- Provide accurate detailed monthly and quarterly forecast and ensure information on the CRM system is kept up to date.
- Maintain and develop a relationship with key individuals with customer base with the aim to gain trust and transparency for ongoing and future opportunities.
- Interface with other internal departments as required ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and quality of process.
- Follow all companies Policies and Procedures including but not limited to Quality, Health and Safety, Environment and Information Security.
- The role is also expected to perform any reasonable requests which are not defined but in the ability of the individual.

- Good computer literately, including Excel and utilising software.
- Qualification assessed at AQF Bachelor degree or higher in a highly relevant field of study.
- At least one year of post-qualification highly relevant employment at an appropriate skill level in the last five years.
