Job Title: Human Resources Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-level advice and support to management and employees across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide guidance on contemporary human resources and industrial relations in line with organizational policies and relevant awards and agreements.
* Support the development and delivery of effective HR initiatives and projects aligned with the organization's people and culture goals.
* Collaborate with program managers to coordinate and resolve employee relations issues.
* Offer coaching, counseling, and career development to employees, as well as conduct thorough investigations where required.
* Advise on award and agreement interpretation and application.
* Assist with preparing documentation for enterprise agreement negotiations.
* Deliver training to employees and maintain a safe work environment in accordance with occupational health and safety procedures.
Requirements:
* Experience in generalist human resources roles, partnering with client groups to identify issues and opportunities for improvement.
* Well-developed interpersonal skills.
* Ability to analyze and develop solutions that add value to the organization's people and culture goals.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Capacity to produce professionally written reports and documentation for presentations.
* Familiarity with statutory documents and workplace legislation.
* CURRENT drivers' license for travel between facilities.
* Internal and external stakeholder engagement skills.
