Job Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Risk & Security Manager to join our team at Westfield Helensvale.
This leadership role is focused on directing the Living Destination risk and security management functions, providing the optimal level of security and safety for our employees, contractors, retailers and customers.
* Proactively plan and deliver priorities from our Safety Framework, providing a safe and secure environment that exceeds customer expectations, whilst promoting safety as an integral part of the customer experience.
* Manage safety audits and inspection programs.
* Manage compliance with all security & health & safety policies, procedures, & practices at the Centre.
* Attend to Centre emergencies; ensuring risk and security staff and contractors are trained to deal with all emergencies.
* Management of external service providers and contract security staff.
* Develop strong relationships and work with local Police, WHS Regulators, Fire Brigade and Ambulance Services to develop operational and emergency protocols.
As a member of our asset team, you will also have Duty Management responsibilities from time to time too, where you will be required to work a weekend shift (on a roster), which will be balanced with a day off in lieu.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
* Excellent risk management experience.
* A strong background in leading security and risk management.
* Demonstrated ability to mitigate & manage risk, manage incident response, reporting, authority interaction and insurance claims management.
* Experience and technical knowledge of CCTV and Access Control systems, and visitor and contractor management systems.
