Pathways Residences and Amara by Pathways is a luxury Residential Aged Care and Seniors Living community opening soon.
Position Overview This role oversees day-to-day maintenance operations, ensuring tasks are completed on time, to a high standard, and in compliance with industry codes of practice and Aged Care and Seniors Living Standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the preventative maintenance program, ensuring buildings, equipment, and grounds are well maintained.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with industry codes and Aged Care Standards.
* Coordinate deliveries and liaise with contractors and suppliers.
* Manage certain inventory and track stock levels.
* Perform a variety of handyman tasks, including minor repairs, furniture fixes, and replacements.
* Conduct regular inspections to proactively identify maintenance needs.
* Request and coordinate external trade work, including obtaining quotes and overseeing approved jobs.
* Collaborate with other members of the Maintenance Team, other departments, and provide updates to the Executive Manager on repairs, inventory, and job status.
About You
* Experience working in aged care / seniors living desirable.
* Demonstrated experience in handyman/trade/maintenance work.
* Awareness of regulations and the importance of compliance.
* Good communication and problem‑solving skills.
* Must have current police check, covid vaccine and 100 points of ID.
* Comprehensive induction and training programs.
* Experience new state‑of‑the‑art luxury Aged Care Facility and technologically innovative environment.
* Monday to Friday typical arrangements.
