Job Description Our client is a well-established industrial services business operating across NSW and nationally, servicing major logistics, industrial and commercial clients including large national accounts. With a broad product range across the industrial and commercial sectors, the NSW operation is well-resourced and continuing to grow. This is a senior leadership opportunity sitting above the day-to-day service management layer - a role for someone ready to own a P&L, lead a broad team and drive a business unit, not just run a schedule. The Role You will have full accountability for the NSW service business - owning the P&L, leading the team and driving growth. You'll oversee a team of approximately 18, including coordinators, sales staff, technicians and admin, supported by a subcontractor network for regional and key account coverage. Your KPIs will centre on contribution margin and revenue growth versus prior year, with STI tied directly to these outcomes. This is not a service manager role dressed up - it requires genuine commercial ownership and the maturity to lead a team through a period of consolidation and improvement. What We're Looking For You've run a service business before - or a significant division of one. You understand what it takes to manage multi-SKU or multi-product field service operations, and you've held P&L accountability at a level where the numbers actually matter. You may come from elevators, HVAC, material handling, industrial equipment or any field service environment where technical complexity and customer expectations are both high. Beyond the commercial credentials, we're looking for a leader who shows up. Someone visible to the team, trusted by the technicians, and capable of presenting confidently to senior stakeholders. You'll be inheriting a capable team that has been through meaningful change - system implementations, structural shifts - and they need someone who can stabilise things, build trust, and then drive performance. Exact technical product knowledge of our products are not required. Mechanical or electrical aptitude helps from experience in a similar industry, but everything else can be learned. Responsibilities
* Full P&L ownership across the NSW service business, including revenue, margin, cost control and forecasting
* Lead and performance manage a team of approximately 18 across coordination, sales, field technicians and administration
* Drive labour productivity and utilisation across the service operation
* Manage pricing, labour efficiency and discounting to protect and grow contribution margins
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key national accounts and major clients
* Oversee scheduling, subcontractor management and regional coverage to meet service obligations
* Develop and execute state-based growth strategies aligned to broader business objectives
* Champion a customer-first culture and drive service excellence across all touchpoints
* Lead the team through ongoing change - embedding process improvements and lifting accountability
