Join a well-regarded organisation based in East Perth seeking an experienced Finance Officer/Reconciliations Officer to support their finance team during a busy period. This is a temporary assignment for around 2 months, with the potential for extension depending on business needs.
The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data through timely and thorough reconciliations. Your day-to-day will include:
* Performing bank, balance sheet and inter company reconciliations
* Investigating and resolving discrepancies
* Assisting with month-end processes and reporting
* Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required
Your Profile
We're looking for someone with strong reconciliation experience and a keen eye for detail. You'll be confident working with large volumes of data and able to work independently to meet deadlines.
* Previous experience in a similar reconciliation-focused role
* Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
