We are looking for a growth-minded Office Manager to join our Global Real Estate team who will be responsible for for managing all aspects of our ANZ offices - Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Auckland. They will work with our Offices Services to drive efficient and effective management of the office footprint e.g., real estate, office expenses, safety and culture - creating a welcoming environment where Convera's employees can thrive in their work.
We are seeking someone who has a passion for building a new part of the organization reporting into our Office Services Leader - APAC, which function reports into the Global Head of Procurement & Real Estate. This new function will help drive efficient & effective management of the office footprint e.g., real estate, office expenses, safety and culture - creating a welcoming environment where Convera's employees can thrive in their work.
**In your role as Office Manager - ANZ, you will**:
- Ensure regular maintenance of equipment & internal systems (e.g. heating) in working with the local building managers / landlords, supplier management for all day to day services such as mailroom, printing / copying, filing
- When setting up a new site / reducing a site or demising a site - be responsible to work with the Global Real Estate Lead to work on leases, work with real estate brokers, moving companies and the real-estate technology team to sort through all activities required to do this successfully
- Manage budgets and be responsible for staying within budget and looking for ways to reduce the cost of the office over time
- Maintain a safe work environment for all employees, escalating any issues that arise on site to the Site Leader / HR as relevant
- Be responsible for the health & safety standards in the office. They will be required to work through all compliance elements of the site with the Site Leader e.g. BCP Site Plans. Coordinate site safety programs, including working with building managers in a coordinated effort on various emergency scenarios to ensure full security and fire safety services for the facility
- Conduct or coordinate (if remote) new employee orientation into the office e.g. work with the badging team to ensure employees have the right access
- Works with the Site Leaders to build employee engagement and culture in the Office. Schedule and set-up all necessary elements for Townhalls and other Office Meetings or events
- Be a culture carrier and help create a welcoming environment where Convera's employees can thrive in their work, building employee engagement and culture in the Office
**A successful Office Manager - ANZ should have**:
- Strong communication skills written and verbal, able to exercise good judgement and attention to detail.
- Excellent planning and organization skills including time management and prioritization
- Can-do attitude, motivated to deliver excellence and go above and beyond
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
