**About the role**:
- Salary: $45/hour + Super
- ASAP commencement
- 38 hour week; Monday to Friday
- 7:30am - 5:00pm office hours
**Position Objective**
- Oversee preparation, drafting, administration and monitoring of the City's leases and agreements.
- Ensure that all new leases and agreements are comprehensive in regards to the attributes of each property, in compliance with City policies and all relevant legislation and are complimentary to broader community requirements
- Develop operational procedures relating to leases/agreements.
- Ensure that all occupied City owned and managed land and facilities are under active agreements.
**Key Responsibilities and Duties**
- **City properties;** Responsible for creating and coordinating leases, licences, shared use agreements and other similar agreements for sporting clubs, community groups, commercial businesses, state government departments and telecommunication companies
- **Administration**: Responsible for drafting leases and legal documents relating to City owned and managed land and properties, including the preparation of detailed property plans
- **Customer Service**: Through the delivery of outstanding service, establish a reputation of customer service excellence throughout the organisation
- **Corporate Compliance**: Demonstrate a commitment to WHS and the assessment/management of safety risk that is consistent with the WHS Roles and Responsibilities Framework
- **General**: Perform other duties as directed when appropriate to the scope and level of this position
**Requirements**:
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation and customer service skills
- Sound financial management skills including management of income and expenditure budgets.
- Sound time management skills, including the ability to work with conflicting demands and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated experience in facility management including but not limited to property and portfolio management, asset management, disposal and acquisition of land assets, risk management, financial management and stakeholder management and evaluation
- Current 'C' class driver's licence
- Local Government experience desirable however not essential
