Key Responsibilities
* Manage and develop sales by training distributor sales staff.
* Ensure sales support tools are integrated into the selling process.
* Achieve annual sales objectives in volume and value.
* Seek out new customers aligned with the company's strategy.
* Develop business with Regional Key Accounts.
Distribution Growth
* Ensure a comprehensive distribution network covers the entire market.
* Train and direct distributors effectively.
* Implement annual business plans with every distributor and branch.
People Development
* Provide ongoing training for distributor staff on customer-centric selling processes.
* Offer coaching on selling skills, sales processes, and using sales tools.
* Achieve annual sales targets.
* Control expenses within budget.
* Assist Finance in achieving targeted Accounts Receivable levels.
HS&E
* Follow vehicle usage guidelines.
* Ensure distributor staff are trained in HS&E issues related to AkzoNobel CR products.
* Comply with HS&E guidelines when demonstrating products.
Other
* Communicate regularly with salespeople and distributors.
* Work with Finance, Operations, and Technical departments to coordinate activities.
* Complete and update state business plan.
* Support CR and CV customers as needed.
Requirements
* Minimum 5-7 years' experience in the vehicle refinish market or equivalent education/experience.
* Thorough knowledge of company products, systems, and application techniques.
* Proven sales and sales management experience.
* Exceptional communication and motivational skills.
* Understanding of basic business management principles.
* Effective leadership skills.
* Willingness to travel regionally and occasionally interstate.
