As an Independent Contractor with Dragonfly, you will be running your own delivery business. This includes sourcing and managing suitable 1t and 2t vans, building and leading a motivated team of drivers, and ensuring parcels are delivered safely, accurately, and on time each day. You’ll be responsible for overseeing performance and maintaining consistently high delivery standards.
This is not a traditional employment role - it is a business opportunity. As a contractor, you will operate as a business owner with full responsibility for managing your operations, while also being supported by Dragonfly Shipping. That support includes access to data-driven insights to help optimise performance, the latest technology to streamline processes, and a dedicated team to provide ongoing guidance. What You Need to Get Started:
- A minimum of two 1-ton vans, with the ability to expand to five
- A team of drivers capable of completing 150–180 parcel deliveries per day, seven days a week
- A team of drivers with strong customer service and communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership ability to manage and motivate your team
- A registered ABN with appropriate business insurance
- Police checks and valid Australian working rights are required for all Drivers
- A valid driver’s licence with a good driving history is required for all Drivers
