We are private neurology practice seeking an experienced Medical Secretary to join our team in a part-time position to work across our two sites starting early February 2026.

About the Role
* Providing high-level administrative and secretarial support to our 4 neurologists and neuropsychologist
* Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice
* Managing patient appointments, referrals, and correspondence
* Handling patient enquiries with professionalism and discretion
* Liaising with GPs, hospitals, insurers, and other healthcare providers
* Maintaining accurate medical records and confidentiality
About You
* 1 - 2 years of experience as a medical secretary or medical administrator, ideally within a specialist practice.
* Excellent organisation, time-management, and attention to detail
* Professional communication skills and a patient-centred approach
* Understanding of privacy, confidentiality, and healthcare compliance
* Current Australian work authorisation required at time of application
Desirable
* Experience of Xestro
* Experience in private healthcare setting
* Knowledge of private health insurance billing and approvals
* Experience of audio and copy typing of medical letters and reports
