We require a Management Accountant to join our team in Sydney.
The Management Accountant function in our business, is a unique and specialised role that will lead the global finance team with overall responsibility for ensuring the organization maximises value to our clients through the professional and technical financial management services across all areas of the business.
Tasks, duties and responsibilities include:
Provide high quality, technology enabled solutions, take a lead in improving processes and use of technological solutions;
Management Accounting consultancy expertise to assist global logistic companies to execute complex logistics transactions and manage their freight operations using CargoWise.
Accounting/Administrative Datasets and Process Design;
Management of accounts preparation and month end close processes;
Preparation of payroll tax and workers compensation reconciliations;
Preparation and lodgement of monthly/quarterly business and instalment activity statements;
Provide information to CEO Team to assist with the preparation of annual financial statements and tax return for companies and trusts;
ATO registration matters, ASIC matters if required;
Assist in the supervision and training of staff;
Review of tasks assigned to juniors and/or intermediate accountants;
Keep CEO informed of progress and any issues arising in the accounting portfolio;
Lead and negotiate complex acquisitions and disposal arising from sales processes and direct dealings to achieve commercially viable outcomes for Jucari Global;
This position will report to the Chief Executive Officer.
Requirements:
Certified CargoWise Professional is a must.
Professional Accountant with appropriate qualification;
Big 4 accounting firm background preferred;
At least 3 to 4 years post qualification experience;
Understanding of basic SQL is desirable;
Strong technical accounting knowledge;
Strong project and time management skills to deliver results to deadlines.
This is a full time position, an immediate start is available.
