As a Facilities and Asset Manager, you'll oversee the safety, functionality, and performance of facilities and assets, nationwide.
**Your new role**
**Facilities Management**:
- Conduct safety inspections.
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs.
- Manage building systems.
- Oversee janitorial services.
**Asset Management**:
- Develop strategies.
- Optimise asset performance.
- Plan maintenance schedules.
- Monitor equipment.
**Vendor Management**:
- Negotiate contracts.
- Evaluate vendor performance.
- Coordinate work orders.
**Budget Oversight**:
- Assist in budget preparation.
- Monitor expenses.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Proven experience in facilities or asset management operations, industry best practice, building codes, and legislative requirements relating to facilities management.
- Electrical or mechanical engineering qualifications are desired, but not essential.
- Strong knowledge of building systems.
- Excellent communication skills.
