South Fremantle Football Club is seeking a Head Physiotherapist to lead our WAFLW medical team and play a vital role in the success, health and wellbeing of our players.

What the role involves:
* Deliver elite-level physiotherapy across the WAFLW program, from injury diagnosis and management through to prevention and return-to-play strategies.
* Lead and support a small medical team, ensuring players receive best-practice care.
* Collaborate closely within a multi-disciplinary team including coaches, strength & conditioning staff and other medical professionals.
* Drive rehabilitation planning, injury prevention initiatives and ongoing player wellbeing programs.
* Represent the medical department at match committee meetings and contribute to overall program success.
What we're looking for:
We're seeking a highly motivated professional who brings:
* A Bachelor of Physiotherapy (or equivalent)
* Current AHPRA registration as a physiotherapist.
* Experience in elite team sport environments, with strong injury diagnosis, management and rehab skills.
* Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work within a high-performance, collaborative environment.
* Permanent residency in Australia, or the appropriate visa to work here.
Highly regarded (but not essential):
* Experience using athlete management systems such as Smartabase.
* Qualifications or experience in exercise science.
Commitment:
* Two training sessions per week (Fremantle Oval and surrounds).
* All WAFLW match days.
* Weekly match committee meetings.
* Ongoing injury reporting, concussion management, and pre-season baseline testing.
