Job Description
* Analyse procurement data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
* Monitor and manage supplier performance to ensure compliance with agreements.
* Assist in the negotiation of contracts and procurement terms.
* Provide regular reports and insights on procurement activities and performance.
* Ensure adherence to procurement policies and industry standards.
* Contribute to process improvements within the procurement department across multiple categories.
A Successful Procurement Analyst Should Have
* A degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
* Experience in procurement or supply chain operations within the retail industry.
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills.
* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
* Proficiency in using analytical reporting (Power BI, MicroStrategy, Excel etc.) software.
* Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
* A proactive attitude and attention to detail.
* The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
