Details: Infrastructure Canberra are seeking an experienced leader to fill the position of Project Director, Transport on a long-term contract for a period of up to five years.
The Project Director reports to the Executive Group Manager, Delivery – Transport and Civil and is responsible for overseeing the planning, procurement and delivery of Stage two of the Canberra light rail network.
The Project Director also represents the Directorate at Government and industry forums on matters that relate to transport infrastructure. The Project Director will be required to demonstrate effectiveness in senior public sector management and have the capacity to build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. The role will need strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire others to work together to achieve Government policy outcomes. Consistent with the 'One Service' approach of the ACT Public Service, the Project Director will also contribute to broader whole of service initiatives relating to workforce management and planning.
Remuneration: The position attracts a remuneration package ranging from $377,954 - $389,635 depending on current superannuation arrangements of the successful applicant. This includes a cash component of $333,737.
Contract: The successful applicant will be engaged under a performance-based long-term contract for a period of up to five years. Prospective applicants should be aware that long-term engagements are tabled in the ACT Legislative Assembly.
