Disability Support Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate professional to join our team as a Local Area Coordinator. As a key member of our support network, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals and aspirations.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide personalized support and guidance to participants, helping them navigate the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and access essential community services. You will work closely with clients, families, and carers to understand their unique needs and develop tailored plans that promote independence, self-advocacy, and community engagement.

* Provide linkage and referrals to community and mainstream services, ensuring seamless support for participants.
* Develop a thorough understanding of the NDIS and its various stages, enabling you to deliver effective support and guidance to participants.
* Undertake other duties as requested by the Service Area Leadership Team, consistent with the general nature and responsibilities of the position.
