About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Conveyancing Secretary to join our dynamic team at Confident Conveyancing in Richmond, NSW. As a Conveyancing Secretary, you will play a vital role in supporting our conveyancers in all aspects of property transactions, ensuring a seamless and efficient process for our clients.

What you'll be doing

* Providing administrative support to conveyancers, including preparing and processing documents, managing client correspondence, and coordinating with external parties such as real estate agents and financial institutions
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client files and records, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
* Assisting with the preparation and lodgement of transfer and other property-related documents with the relevant authorities
* Coordinating the settlement process, including arranging appointments, conducting pre-settlement checks, and facilitating the exchange of funds
* Answering client inquiries and providing excellent customer service throughout the conveyancing process
* Collaborating with the wider team to ensure the efficient and timely completion of all conveyancing matters

What we're looking for

* Proven experience as a Conveyancing Secretary or similar administrative role within a legal or property-related environment
* Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
* Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in your work
* Proficient in using relevant software and systems, such as conveyancing case management tools
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, solicitors, and other stakeholders
* A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
