As a key member of our team, the Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our funeral services. Your main responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities
1. Office Administration:
* Manage office administration tasks, including responding to visitor and phone enquiries.
* Prepare quotations and maintain accurate records in our customer relationship management system.
* Coordinate daily schedules and communicate changes to the team.
* Manage invoices, banking, and account reconciliations in Xero.
* Ensure the office is clean and well-supplied at all times.
2. Supporting Funeral Services:
* Assist funeral directors to ensure services run smoothly and efficiently.
* Prepare flowers, music, memorial booklets, press notices, and other details for funerals and memorials.
* Ensure all regulatory paperwork is accurate and completed on time.
* Maintain risk registers and follow health and safety guidelines.
3. Requirements:
* Justice of the Peace (NSW) appointment or willingness to become one within six months.
* Fully vaccinated against vaccine-preventable diseases.
* Full driver's licence and willingness to travel between branches.
