Responsibilities
* Lead a team of 20+ to maintain an engaged and safe work environment, while performing duty‐manager duties including opening and closing the store on weekdays and weekends.
* Build team capability on best experience and safety culture & compliance, covering engagement, performance management and recognition.
* Plan and roster staff to deliver on the service promise.
* Drive department sales through strong merchandising and monitoring of key metrics.
* Act on customer feedback to improve the end‐to‐end customer experience.
* Ensure department stock accuracy, including adjustments, replenishment discipline and loss prevention processes.
Qualifications
* Highly driven with strong leadership and influencing skills.
* Previous experience leading teams with a focus on safety, wellbeing and specialist products.
* Ability to develop teams and provide a healthy working environment.
* Ability to handle multiple roles, influence stakeholders, understand KPIs and exceed customer expectations.
* Lead and inspire a large team (20+) to deliver the best experience through engagement, coaching and teamwork.
* Champion a safe & secure environment by role‐modeling safety leadership and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
* Confident leader experienced in opening and closing the store and supporting smooth trade across weekdays and weekends.
* Build team capability through clear expectations, performance conversations and recognition.
* Deliver on the service promise through effective rostering, planning and readiness for customers.
* Drive strong retail fundamentals, including merchandising excellence, sales performance, stock accuracy, availability and loss prevention.
