Responsibilities
Support Workers A2 will be required to provide service between the hours of 7am and 7pm, Monday to Sunday. They are required to provide all facets of support services along with intimate personal care. These include meal preparation, assist with personal care needs such as showering, grooming, dressing and feeding, provide domestic assistance, including general household cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, laundry, bed making and cleaning bathrooms and toilets. Other services may include transportation of clients to appointments/shopping, social support, respite and companionship. As per above A1 Support Worker - We have introduced scheduling practices to limit the number of hours per day our Support Workers undertake Domestic Assistance services to 4 hours per day. However, by mutual agreement, we may enter into a higher number of hours per day of this particular type of service.
* Provide all facets of support services and intimate personal care.
* Meal preparation and assistance with personal care tasks (showering, grooming, dressing, feeding).
* Domestic assistance: general household cleaning (vacuuming, dusting, laundry, bed making, bathrooms and toilets).
* Transportation to appointments or shopping, social support, respite and companionship.
Qualifications
* Required to hold Cert III Individual Support - CHC33015 or equivalent
* Cert III Aged Care - CHC30212, CHC30208 or CHC30102
* Cert III Home & Community Care - CHC30312, CHC30308 or CHC30202
* Cert III Disability – CHC30408
* Cert III Health Services Assistance: HLT32512, HLT32507, HLT33115
Additional notes
* Medication assist module desirable
* Classified as a Health Partner A2 within the integratedliving framework
Pay and progression
* Pay rate commences at $29.85 as base hourly rate (exclusive of super and any casual loadings, etc.).
* Pay progression after a year of service with integratedliving.
