This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed and values-driven Administration Trainee to join our team and build real-world finance experience while completing a nationally recognised qualification. You’ll work alongside our Senior Finance Officer, learning the ropes of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general finance administration in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

About the Role

This full-time, 12-month traineeship offers the opportunity to:

Gain hands-on experience in finance administration, including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll

Provide support in data entry, invoice processing, bank reconciliations, and record-keeping

Assist with general administrative duties in a not-for-profit finance environment

Learn industry software and systems (e.g. Xero, Employment Hero)

Work as part of a collaborative, friendly team

Complete a Certificate III or IV in Business or Accounts Administration (with dedicated time during work hours to study)

This is a fantastic entry point for someone passionate about finance and administration, with a genuine interest in building a long-term career in the sector.

What We're Looking For

We’re seeking someone who is:

Friendly, reliable, and eager to learn

A great communicator with good attention to detail

Comfortable using Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)

Organised and able to manage their time effectively

Committed to the values and mission of RCA

No prior experience is required—just the right attitude and a willingness to grow.

Competitive trainee wage in line with the National Training Wage Schedule

Not-for-profit salary packaging up to $18,500 per annum
