Our client is looking for an experienced Safety Professional to join their team to ensure workplace and contractor compliance and act as the subject matter expert for all matters safety. Based in East Victoria Park, this role will focus on implementing effective safety procedures and policies, along with driving a positive safety culture Client Details Our client is a well-establish and rapidly growing player in the commercial building and maintenance sector with customers across WA. They have a strong customer reputation and an engaged and hard-working team. Description Develop and implement WHS policies and procedures in alignment with legislative requirements. Conduct regular risk assessments and site inspections to identify and address potential hazards. Act as the key point of contact for contractor and client safety queries Monitor and report on workplace incidents, ensuring accurate documentation and follow-up actions. Maintain compliance with local and national WHS regulations. Profile To be considered for this role Safety qualifications to a minimum of Certificate IV Experience in the construction or commercial maintenance industry Strong understanding of Australian WHS legislation and compliance requirements. Exposure to contractor and sub-contractor management in a safety setting Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across various teams. Proven ability to develop and implement safety strategies.
