Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated individual to deliver employment services in line with NDIS practice standards. This role involves building a participant's capacity to work through skills development, work experience placements, and on the job support.
The successful applicant will be responsible for canvassing the local community to promote are-able Employment Services and create employment opportunities for participants, while maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a motivated individual with experience in employment preparation and proven skills and experience in engaging business and community services.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Perform onboarding and registration of new participants into employment services programs
* Provide employment skills training and support to participant groups via the delivery, assessment, and development of defined coursework
* Provide individualised participant planning and support to prepare for employment
* Engage with community stakeholders and employers to build the employment skills of people with a diverse range of capabilities
* Network and collaborate with local community and are-able Employment Consultants to facilitate the placement and ongoing employment of Participants into work
The position has high mobility, and the successful applicant will be resourced with a car, phone and laptop.
