Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Personal Assistant to support our Claims team in Perth on a part-time basis for a 6-month, fixed-term contract.
This is a 4-day per week contract working Monday-Thursday with a hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Claims team to deliver exceptional support to our members.
* Provide administrative and coordination support to the team including assisting to prepare claims and legal documentation, drafting correspondence, liaising with members, witnesses, experts, court, and tribunal staff.
* Provide assistance to members via Avant's telephone call service.
* Coordinate meetings and travel arrangements.
* Process invoices, monthly billings, and MasterCard reconciliations.
Requirements:
* Demonstrated experience in an administrative position in an insurance or legal environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Fast and accurate typing skills.
* The ability to balance multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and show attention to detail.
* A high level of competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
* Experience in preparing and maintaining case files.
